Every cohort ends with Demo Day, when months of learning collapse into a single afternoon of live project presentations in front of mentors and hiring partners. We followed the April 2026 cohort from morning standup to the final handshake. Here is the day in pictures and moments.

The day opens with a slightly nervous standup. Coffee cups everywhere, last-minute bug fixes on laptops, mentors walking between desks. Each student states the one thing they still want to finish before the showcase.

Students pair up to rehearse their two-minute pitches. The rule is simple: lead with the problem, show the live demo, then talk tech. Peers play the role of skeptical interviewers, poking holes before the real audience can.

Lunch is rarely just lunch here. Half the room is still sketching architecture on the glass wall, debating whether to cache a slow endpoint before the demo. The energy is equal parts anxiety and excitement.

The showcase begins. One by one, students walk hiring partners through real, deployed projects — a logistics dashboard, a recipe-recommendation app, an inventory API. The best moments are when a partner leans in and starts asking detailed technical questions.

By evening the room shifts from presentations to conversations. Contact details are swapped, follow-up interviews scheduled, and a few on-the-spot expressions of interest are made. For many students, this is the afternoon a career begins.
